Tinkas are very clever, and tinkas love collecting things, and making stuff made out of junk. Here is a handy guide to help you easily collect all the great and rare stuff you may find in Tinkatolli. To open your backpack, click the bag icon on the bottom of the screen.
It should look like that. Once you click it, a long rectangle should come up. After opening it, you can see there are 3 categories, Organic, Junk, and Makeables. I will tell you about the meanings now.
Organic
Organics are the flowers and natural things you find on Tinkatolli. Although Blueberries are natural, they are just for eating. You can find Organic items in Sundunia, Canopia and Stinkatolli. They are the ones with no dirt surrounding the items.
You do not have to use seeds to collect organic items, and all you have to do to collect them, is to drag them to your tinka and it will automatically be added to your backpack.
Junk
Junk are items such as metal, paper, cardboard, wool, plastic pieces such as forks, boxes, wires, lids and other things. Unlike Organics, you need to use seeds to obtain them. First, use your mouse to roll-over the junk, which is usually half sticking out, as the rest is in dirt. It will say, 'Plant some seeds!'
Click it, and some plants will grow, and also push the junk out of the dirt. Then once the plants disappear, you can finally drag the junk into your tinkas backpack. The cost for planting seeds is usually 30 seeds for junk.
Makeables
Makeables aren't found on Tinkatolli. You need to make them, which explains the name. To make one of them, you need to have a certain amount of junk you have collected and TinkaPoints. You can either go to FurnitureShop in Tinker Town, or MechanicalShop in Junkatolli.
Each makeable has a specified amount of junk, such as a table, which is a bottle top lid and some cardboard, but no points. If you have the right amount of stuff, a tick will appear instead of a cross, and you can then make it. Click the item you want to make, and this will appear:
Drag the items needed to make it from your backpack in the Junk section, and then put it in the right spot on the diagram in the middle of the room. Then ta-da! It will be finished, and you can then drag it straight into your tinkas backpack. Use the makeables in your house for some nice furniture. :)
Gifting
Although it isn't in your backpack, you can also gift items to tinkas and help them get items they need. You also get points for giving items in the Online- Giver Section. To gift an item, just drag an item from your backpack onto that tinka. A message will come up saying, 'Give this?'. Press yes if you are sure you want to gift it to them.
A little bubble with a gift box will come up next to the tinka you gifted to, and when they recieve it, they will smile. :) When you receive a gift, a message will come on the right hand of your screen and say for instance, '_____ wants to give you'. Press yes please if you want to receive it, or no thanks to give it back to them.
Gifting is really helpful when you need just a couple more pieces to finish a makeable. But remember, when you give someone a gift, you shouldn't expect a gift back. It's not getting, its giving. :)
I hope this guide helped you, and have fun exploring Tinkatolli and collecting even more junk! :D
